The most important content you can be creating for marketing today is video. Period. Whether it’s on YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, or a number of others, it's the strategy you need.
It doesn't matter what your brand is or what your company does. That's where the eyeballs are. But, check this out - YouTube, the king sh!t of video, is actually being outperformed by Facebook in daily video streams. Why? Because Facebook is king sh!t of data. More information on viewers, more targetable consumer data, and features that are always evolving. Their Newsfeed algorithm is heavy with video because that is what the people are drawn to.
Does that mean you should abandon YouTube? Heck no. It just means you need to be covering all bases; don't ignore the other players. Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat are all here to play, each with their own pros and cons. What it comes down to is looking at your brand, or company, or product and determining which platform(s) will best serve you in reaching your target demographic. And if you have questions with that, Media One is here to help.
P.S. Congrats if you read all that. Now here is some video from our friends at Animoto.
